Aviation Real Estate and Transactions
NorthSPG has advised on aviation transactions for 25 years. We act for founder and family owners selling FBO and MRO businesses, and for the operators, infrastructure investors and capital partners looking to buy them. We value the business and the real estate underneath it, including the ground lease, hangars, ramp and fuel infrastructure. We then run a confidential process to a buyer who fits the asset and the airport.

Sale Lease Back-Airport Development
For owners who want capital without giving up operations, we structure sale-leasebacks of existing hangars and aviation facilities. The operator keeps control of the site. The investor gets long-term leased aviation real estate with a real tenant behind it.
We also advise on aeronautical and non-aeronautical development on airport land. That covers hangars, FBO facilities and apron-adjacent sites, as well as commercial, logistics, retail and hospitality uses, and parking facilities both on and off airport. For airports, we identify, structure and source development partners and tenants. For users such as FBOs, MROs, operators and corporate flight departments, we find sites, negotiate ground leases and through-the-fence arrangements, and secure the space to expand.

How We Work
Most of our transactions are off-market and principal-to-principal. Owners deal directly with decision-makers, with no marketed listing and no broker chain in between. We work across North America, Central America, South America and Europe, with partner offices in São Paulo and Panama.
